Rohit Sharma is the only noticeable omission from India's 15-member squad which will travel to the West Indies for five one-day internationals and a one-off T20 International, immediately after the ICC Champions Trophy.
While the Champions Trophy concludes on June 18, India play their first ODI against West Indies on June 23.
A full-strength Indian team will travel to the Caribbean islands. However, exciting young wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will replace Rohit, who returned to international cricket during India's Champions Trophy campaign in England.
Rohit was in fine form at the top of the order making 91 against Pakistan before smashing a more confident 78 against Sri Lanka. Pant has been in breathtaking form in the domestic circuit and was a further revelation during the IPL this year, putting some of the best bowlers in the world to the sword.
India squad for West Indies tour: V Kohli, S Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Mohd. Shami, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav and Dinesh Karthik
